What are my responsibilities?

  • Develop, own and execute the global quality strategy, aligned with Interroll's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Partner directly with Engineering and R&D leaders to establish and govern a robust Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) framework for all new product developments, innovations and major change projects.
  • Establish global standards for production process control, inspection, and testing protocols across all manufacturing sites.
  • Lead major, cross-functional problem-solving initiatives (utilizing methodologies like 8D) for critical field failures or customer escalations, driving to root cause and permanent correction.
  • Develop and execute a global supplier quality management strategy, including qualification, audit, performance monitoring, and development programs.
  • Champion a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. Partner with the Interroll Academy to develop and deploy a global quality curriculum for training on core tools, standards, and problem-solving.
  • Act as the key quality advisor and partner to the leadership teams in Operations, Technology, and Sales.

What do i need to qualify for this job?

  • Master degree or equivalent education in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ management and leadership experience in a comparable role in Quality
  • Deep knowledge on quality methods and tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis) and engineering methods and tools such as APQP and PPAP
  • Pragmatic and Hands-on in Execution Excellence
  • Able to foster global collaboration with an intercultural mindset
  • Taking Ownership and Accountability (“Own the solution”)
  • Provide People Management with ethical leadership
  • Min. C1 in English and German, additional languages a strong plus
